Crossing Sensory Boundaries: Annual Conference of the American Synesthesia Association

Do you see colour when you listen to music? Does chicken taste pointy? Do you read in Technicolor? Are the months of the year arranged in space around your body? These sensations (as well as other cross-sensory connections) are the experiences of ‘synesthetes’. Synesthesia is a neurological phenomenon once considered rare, in which the activation of one sense initiates a response in another sense. (read more)
