An exhibition by OCAD alumna Paula Krochak
The OCAD Alumni Association is pleased to announce the installation of a works by alumna Paula Krochak (BFA, Printmaking, 2008).
Paula's work focuses on the small details in things and seeks to raise the profile of traditional printmaking methods. She is currently studying the "similarities in the geometry of shape and line within the natural and the synthetic world."
About the artist
Paula Krochak holds a BFA from the Ontario College of Art & Design, where she majored in printmaking. She has a special interest in stone lithography, a demanding process that uses acids, printing presses, ink and stones. This Hamilton-based artist currently works out of the Print Studio, where she also volunteers. Interested in sharing the fun and inspiration of art making with others, she has involved herself in arts education between Hamilton and Toronto.
About the Alumni Window Gallery
The Alumni Window Gallery is an exciting initiative started by the OCAD Alumni Association in 2009 to provide a dedicated space on OCAD’s campus to display and promote the work of OCAD Alumni from all disciplines within the faculties. Curated by Alumni Association Vice President Amanda McKinney (BFA, Drawing & Painting, 2007) and Alumni Association Secretary Tony Taylor (AOCAD, Drawing & Painting, 2004), there is an open submission schedule.
