Graduate studies 3 minute thesis competition
The Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is a research communication competition developed by The University of Queensland. The exercise develops academic, presentation, and research communication skills and supports the development of research students' capacity to effectively explain their research in a language appropriate to an intelligent but non-specialist audience.
On March 7th, OCAD University will host an Internal event, Thesis students with approved projects will present their 3MT to the university community.
The best presentation and the runner-up (as awarded by jury) will go on to the provincial Final to be hosted at Queen’s university in Kingston, Ontario, on April 18, 2013 and receive cash prizes of 500$ and 250$ respectively. The audience will also have a chance to vote their favorite presentation for the “people’s choice” award.
